Hey Sampath, I downloaded your Resource Information wsp file, but I am getting an error when I try to activate it:
“The solution contains invalid markup or elements that cannot be deployed as part of a sandboxed solution. Solution manifest for solution ‘e2de8f9e-dc5c-4178-b579-7420069a0416′ failed validation, file manifest.xml, line 20 chareacter 4: The element ‘Solution’ in namespace ‘http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint has invalid child element ‘TemplateFiles’ in namespace ‘http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint’. List of possible elements expected: ‘FeatureManifest, ActivationDependencies’ in namespace ‘http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint’.
Also, I’m not sure what to do with the Resource-Information.dll file.
I am running SharePoint 2010 14.0.4763.1000 on Windows server 2008 R2
Thanks for your help. I would really like to look at your solution.
Hi Sampath,
I am very interested in your Resource Scheduler 2010 web part – thanks for putting it out there! I downloaded it and then, immediately uploaded the resource_information.wsp file to the Solutions Gallery at a top level Site Collection in our test environment. However, I get the following error message when I try to activate it:
ERROR:
This solution contains invalid markup or elements that cannot be deployed as part of a sandboxed solution. Solution manifest for solution ‘e2de8f9e-dc5c-4178-b579-7420069a0416′ failed validation, file manifest.xml, line 10, character 4: The element ‘Solution’ in namespace ‘http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/’ has invalid child element ‘TemplateFiles’ in namespace ‘http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/’. List of possible elements expected: ‘FeatureManifests, ActivationDependencies’ in namespace ‘http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/’.

I got a few requests about this so i thought i will upload a step by step guide with the source files. You can download it from this link. This has a step by step guide. Hope this helps.
